KG Curriculum

The Kindergarten (KG) Curriculum at Devagiri CMI Public School is thoughtfully designed to provide a joyful, engaging, and nurturing foundation for early childhood development. We believe that the early years of education play a crucial role in shaping a child’s personality, curiosity, and love for learning. Our KG program focuses on holistic growth, blending play-based learning with structured activities in a safe and stimulating environment.

The curriculum emphasizes the overall development of children—intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and creative. Interactive storytelling, phonics, rhymes, number games, and hands-on learning materials make concepts easy to understand and enjoyable to practice.

Play-based learning is central to our KG approach. Children learn best when they explore, experiment, and express themselves freely. Classroom activities include art and craft, music and movement, role play, puzzles, and group activities that enhance creativity, imagination, and teamwork. These experiences help build confidence and communication skills from an early age.

The curriculum also focuses on developing fine and gross motor skills through activities such as drawing, coloring, clay modeling, physical exercises, and outdoor play. These activities improve coordination, balance, and physical strength while promoting healthy habits.
