The inauguration of the Math Club on July 5, 2023, marked an important milestone for Devagiri CMI Public School in fostering a love for mathematics among its students. The event took place in the home theatre, with Mr. Prakash TP, a retired headmaster, serving as the chief guest.

The program commenced with a warm welcome speech delivered by Sradha Ajul of Class IX B, followed by Ms. Silpa PK introducing the esteemed chief guest. Lakshmi Narayanan of Class IX C expressed gratitude and delivered a vote of thanks. Ms. Mary Thomas served as the anchor, ensuring a smooth flow of the event.

Mr. Prakash engaged the club members, comprising students from classes VI to IX, in an interactive class, encouraging active participation. The Math club holds immense importance in the school as it provides a platform for students to explore and deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and nurture a lifelong appreciation for the subject. Through engaging sessions and expert guidance, the Math Club aims to cultivate a positive attitude towards mathematics, fostering critical thinking and analytical abilities among the students.
